Project Diary - Day 22 - March 27, 2026

Day 22 opened on Friday March 27th after a Thursday lost to a credit card hack — M&T card compromised, new card ordered, auto-pays migrated to AMEX Blue, new Amazon Prime account opened with Chase with a $150 GC reward. All resolved before the session.

Session was primarily housekeeping and audit work. No new content pages were built. The restart package was assembled from multiple uploads as the correct 2DO file wasn't in the initial tar. A review of the last 10 2DO lists was conducted to surface chronic deferrals and parking lot candidates — a useful practice that revealed the diary index items had already been completed (contrary to old 2DO list entries) and identified tmux as the strongest next content candidate.

project-diary.html was reviewed and patched. vnu passed clean on all modified files. check_ai_tree.sh -a confirmed clean at session open.

tmux deep-dive — identified as strongest next content candidate

Observations

The 2DO list audit across 10 sessions was worth doing. It surfaces the difference between items that are genuinely deferred versus items that were completed but never crossed off in the list. The diary index cards for Days 17–19 were in the latter category — done but still appearing as open items.

The parking lot concept continues to earn its keep. tmux, top nav link rows, and lessons-learned are all real work — they just weren't today's work.

Day 22 was a short session by design. Other obligations took the afternoon. The site remains clean and the next content session has a clear first task: tmux.
