Project Diary — Day 28 Completion

Day 28 primary goal: add a consistent CLI tool navigation bar across all 11 deep-dive tool pages plus index.html. The nav bar gives users "you are here" orientation as they move through the CLI tool series — each page highlights its own button as active while all 11 tools remain one click away.

Session also closed out the cron script audit (chmod 000 on old scripts sending email to Craig and a retired co-worker) — a clean housekeeping item carried from the parking lot.

Two placement options considered: above the hero banner vs. below it. Below the hero won — the breadcrumb handles site hierarchy above the banner, the CLI nav handles series orientation below it. Clean separation of concerns. AI Home and Technical Deep-Dive links were kept out of the CLI nav bar to avoid redundancy with the existing breadcrumb.
