AI-NEW.html — TMA entry card added to the card grid, positioned alongside How AI Actually Works
Quick Links footer restructured — separated into a header line plus a link row; brought current with How AI Actually Works, TMA, and Glossary (all three were missing); fixed link-wrapping by tightening margin to 8px
check_tree.sh — substantial rework:
- Added .jpeg/.png to skip list (also quietly resolved the biomes/ image orphans)
- Added a no-extension skip rule, clearing remember/ and addendum/ noise without directory-specific logic
- Removed dead NOTES.txt skip entry — turned out glossary/NOTES is a directory, not a file; the entry never matched anything
- Found and fixed a real bug: in -a mode, every scanned HTML file was being silently excluded from the Linked/Orphan check entirely — not a traversal-depth issue, a full exclusion. Fixed by removing the stale SOURCE_FILE_SET filter in STEP 3.
- Fixed STEP 7 symlink reporting — it was silently dropping every index.html-named symlink (9 of 11). Now reports all symlinks in the tree.
Orphan cleanup — with the -a mode bug fixed, 6 real orphans surfaced for the first time. Cleared to zero: ai-stack/005-inference.html, orig-episodes.html, root-level Assess_Your_AI_Knowledge.html and Recommended_Learning_Path-AI-LLM.html (all confirmed stale pre-breadcrumb duplicates of their linked counterparts), plus glossary/NOTES/prot-glossary.ht_ml (renamed to .txt)
Symlink audit — confirmed all 11 symlinks in the tree follow the same convention (index.html as the symlink, descriptive name as the real file); no reversed pairs found
Tree status: 129 linked, 0 orphans, 0 broken links, 0 backup files, 11 symlinks — clean
TMA/LLM/LLM-Transformer.html — new Transformer Deep Dive page: the RNN/LSTM bottleneck it solved, self-attention with a worked pronoun-resolution example, encoder/decoder structure with a comparison table, and why the 2017 paper's claim held up. Added to LLM-index.html (five pages → six).
