CPWC(1) User Commands CPWC(1)
NAME
cpwc - create enhanced protein nut mixture with dried fruit support
SYNOPSIS
cpwc [--roasted] [--salted] [--organic] [--tart] [--extra-fruit]
DESCRIPTION
cpwc extends the basic cpw(1) functionality by adding dried cranberry support to the protein nut mixture. This enhancement provides additional antioxidants, fiber, and a tart-sweet flavor profile that complements the base nut combination.

The mixture combines:

The cranberry addition maintains the "lazy mode" compatibility of the base cpw implementation, requiring no additional preparation steps beyond opening an additional package.

ALGORITHM
  1. Execute base cpw(1) procedure (steps 1-3)
  2. Open dried cranberry package
  3. Add cranberries to existing nut mixture
  4. Agitate container vigorously to ensure even distribution
  5. Transfer to airtight storage container (larger capacity required)
  6. Label with creation date and variant identifier (CPWC)
OPTIONS
All options from cpw(1) are inherited. Additional options:
--tart
Use unsweetened dried cranberries for reduced sugar content. May be too tart for some users. Not recommended without user acceptance testing.
--extra-fruit
Increase cranberry proportion to 1.5 lb for enhanced fruit-to-nut ratio. Shifts flavor profile significantly toward sweet-tart.
EXAMPLES

Basic CPWC mixture (lazy mode):

Open four 1-lb bags (cashews, pecans, walnuts, cranberries),
dump into container, shake vigorously, done.

Enhanced CPWC mixture:

Layer nuts first (cpw procedure), add cranberries as top layer,
mix thoroughly with wooden spoon to prevent cranberry clumping,
store in glass container with wide mouth for easy access.

Trail mix variant:

cpwc --roasted --extra-fruit
Optimal for hiking, camping, and extended AA meeting sessions.
ENVIRONMENT
STORAGE_TEMP
Optimal: 60-70°F (15-21°C)
Maximum shelf life: 2-3 months at room temperature (reduced from cpw due to fruit moisture content)
Extended storage: refrigerate up to 4 months
HUMIDITY
Keep dry. Cranberries can cause moisture transfer to nuts if exposed to high humidity. Monitor container seal integrity.
WEEZA_APPROVAL
If set to "true", indicates spousal acceptance of cranberry variant. Pistachio alternatives explicitly rejected per user preference testing.

NOTES

Total yield: 4 pounds (64 oz)
Serving size: approximately 1 oz (28g)
Servings per batch: 64

Nutritional profile per serving (approximate):

ADVANTAGES OVER CPW:

CAUTION: Not suitable for tree nut allergies. Sweetened cranberries add sugar content. High calorie density still requires portion control. May cause even more excessive snacking than base cpw variant.

BUGS

Disappears from container approximately 25% faster than base cpw variant due to enhanced palatability.

Cranberries have tendency to settle toward top of container due to lower density. Periodic agitation recommended before serving.

Some users report difficulty stopping at recommended 1 oz serving size. This appears to be a feature, not a bug.

Dates were considered as alternative fruit component but rejected due to:

However, the caramel flavor profile of dates is acknowledged as superior. Future development may explore date integration strategies.
COMPATIBILITY

cpwc is fully backward compatible with cpw. Any system that can execute cpw can execute cpwc with only the addition of dried cranberry inventory.

cpwc output can be consumed by all applications that accept cpw output, including but not limited to:
