BulletinReview site edited by different schools up until March through OmniUpdate when locked down to just deans etc to update. Then this goes live (need Houck to do this on the server side) with Liz's word.
There is a Bulletin ( bulletin.binghamton.edu) and a BulletinReview ( bulletinreview.binghamton.edu) site. Bulletin Live to students etc. bulletinreview for editing. John and I changed Watson School to Watson College per request. Went through each case one by one to make sure. We did this in OxygenXML Communications and Marketing needs to do OmniUpdate side. 2 sides of Bulletin - XML Side(use OxygenXML to view/Edit) and Database(Exist DB)
Faculty There are 3 places that let you get 2 the Faculty information. Left side of the page - points to bulletin/2019-2020/faculty/list.xml Right side - by department - example - /bulletin/2019-2020/xq/anthropology_ug.xq by affiliation - example - /bulletin/2019-2020/faculty/affiliated/CDBN.xml
How To Liz will provide listofAllFaculty.xml - Rename what is there in the new year with the date she gives me new. Create a new xml file in OxygenXML and call it listofAllFaculty.xml May never change anything else unless there is a new center. Lynne Hende Provided me changes to the Faculty Drop Downs - all done in index.html. Waiting on xml files from Liz Abate. I will upload and adjust xm file names in the index.html file. Liz will also have an update to the left had column regarding COVID 19 pdf similar to the Annual Security Report. Veify the creation of the pdf that they will want in the near future? Wiki? Had to change Faculty affiliate a dept dropdowns - Adds and deletes. then I had to create the xml files that go with them. I just used one as a template and changed and imported. Problem with Decker Graduate pages loading - screen green. OmniUpdate Issue. New Program added in Omniupdate by Liz - Data Analytics under GradSchool. I had to create an .xq file similar to another used John's wiki to figure out perissions for it to be seen. Added a drop down in the index.html file. Changes for index.html to add info about Bulletin Archive Added a paragraph to explain how to get to old ones. Changes for Watson School to College left hand of the page text and drop down index.html Liz sent ne w faculty file I renamed old and imported new and had to change the Watson.xml for the same thing.
