--- PIWIGO Update ---
The Piwigo update is not a yum update.
To update Piwigo, go to bingpix.binghamton.edu and click on the Login link on the bottom left of the page.
The Login link is a bit touchy - you have to get your mouse in just the right spot.
You might want to go directly to the Login page instead - bingpix.binghamton.edu/identification.php .
You can find the admin login credentials for Piwigo in the JFHinfo Tiddlywiki file.
After you have logged in, click on Administration (upper left corner of page) and choose Tools.
Under Tools you will see Updates.
Click on Updates.
You should see a button to update the software.
I think that will do it but I can't remember exactly from the last time I did this.
Important: Before updating Piwigo I would first manually make a backup copy of the files on Bingdev (/local/htdocs/bingpix)
and the MySQL database (/var/lib/mysql -- bingpix). Because they have over 50 gb of images and there are thousands of them, the file
backup would take several hours. If you omit the directory where the images are stored, the backup would go much quicker.
I was probably being overly cautious but I figured if something went wrong with the upgrade it would be easy for me to revert
back to the original without having to restore the files from TSM and also restore the database from AWS RDS. If you feel lucky,
you can skip this step : ). I didn't have any problems with the last update and the current update looks to be a minor one.
