"Burn" an ISO to a Thumbdrive

Make sure the thumbdrive has the capacity to hold the iso ... ls -lh <imagename>.iso

If you plug the thumbdrive in it will likely automount.
You can find how it mounts with a df -hT.
If it does not mount, try fdisk -l.

/bin/dd if=<imagename>.iso of=/dev/sd<thumbdrive letter>
/bin/dd if=linuxmint-19.1-xfce-64bit.iso of=/dev/sdb
/bin/dd if=kodibuntu-14-0rc-64-bit-multi-ubu.iso of=/dev/sdb

fdisk -l | egrep /dev/sd ID by device size.

fdisk -l | egrep /dev/sd
