A vHost harveyv.bighamton to bingweb.binghamton.edu should be made soon!!i

Method 1-One

With the account owners permission I will migrate the files from the /legacy mount to the BShare account once it is created.
I will make some effort to find any fully qualified URLS and supply the the account owner with a file name list to begin to remove those.
IF we have the vHost mentioned above that would not me necessary Method 2-TWO

Method 3-Three

### The important path strings are bold and green above:
CON'T THE EXAMPLE

 Legacy path is /legacy/9/ksmey
BUShare path is /u0/users/ksmey

These are supplied to the program that will generate the two commands to run...

/usr/local/bin/Legacy2BuShare.bash /legacy/9/ksmey /u0/users/ksmey
LegacyPath=/legacy/9/ksmey .... BUSharePath=/u0/users/ksmey

cd /legacy/9/ksmey; pwd
/usr/bin/tar cvpf - * | ( cd /u0/users/ksmey; /usr/bin/tar xpf -)/

Copy and paste the cd;pwd command...
Copy and paste the tar command (having insured that the correct from path is where you are.)

The TAR runs in verbose mode so you will see files as they are moved.
